All gifts via this campaign will be direct to the RIT Fund. Your gift provides the critical resources necessary for RIT to meet its most immediate needs. Endowment spending only covers about four percent of the annual operating budget but truly unrestricted support provides university leadership the flexibility to prioritize the needs of our students. Unrestricted gifts provide resources that allow university leadership to take advantage of unanticipated academic and student life opportunities, make life-changing international experiences accessible, offer powerful career building and research programs, and react to numerous unforeseen challenges our students face.
Once you have completed making your gift, there will be a final page that will ask you for your student's name and the message you wish to share. Make sure to complete all of these fields so that we may create the message for the screen in the SHED.
We ask that messages to be less than 200 characters long, as the image will be available on the screen for about 10-15 seconds, depending on the amount of submissions collected via this campaign.
If you would like to send a message to various different students, we ask that you make multiple gifts via the campaign. This means:
All messages will be LIVE on the SHED screen during Tiger Fest, the first week of classes during the Fall Semester, August 25 - 30, 2025.
