At Rochester Institute of Technology, students in the game development ecosystem are building the future of interactive entertainment—creating innovative games, pushing emerging technologies, and collaborating across and at the intersection of technology, art, and design. To truly thrive and Level Up, these students need and want professional opportunities and experiences beyond the classroom.
Conferences and competitions such as industry showcases, game jams, national design challenges and opportunities to present research give RIT students invaluable access to professional feedback, cutting-edge ideas, and career-shaping connections.
Unfortunately, travel, conference registration, and lodging costs are a barrier for many talented students and the need truly exceeds existing resources. Your support can change that. A gift to support conference and competition travel helps ensure that creative, passionate, entrepreneurial-minded RIT students—regardless of financial circumstance—can represent RIT on national and international stages.
Donor support directly funds:
- Travel and lodging for students presenting games or research
- Conference and competition registration fees
- Team participation in high-impact, career-launching industry events
