Success in rowing is built on consistency, intentional repetition, and moving forward together. That consistency can be difficult to find in Rochester during the spring, when flooding and river conditions limit how often we’re able to get on the water. In 2027, the team will be traveling to Maryland to compete at Washington College for spring break. Spring break gives our crews the reliable access to water they need to train properly and prepare for the season ahead.
Your ROAR Day support helps fund that trip for every single rower ensuring every member of our team can participate without the cost of spring break becoming a barrier. Over the past few years, we’ve worked hard to significantly reduce that burden for our athletes, and your support keeps us moving in the right direction. When our entire team can be on the water, training together and pushing toward the same goal, everyone benefits.
