Support RIT Softball!

Every rep is an opportunity to get better. This ROAR Day, our softball team is asking for your help as we are preparing for another season and look for ways to give our athletes more opportunities to improve. A major priority is funding for our spring trip, which gives us valuable time together and the chance to compete and prepare for the season in a focused, warm environment. Your support helps make this trip affordable for every player on the team.

We also want to bring more technology into our everyday training by providing Blast Motion sensors for every player, along with tablets that allow us to see the data in real time. At approximately $120 per sensor, equipping our entire team is a meaningful investment, but it gives each athlete immediate feedback on things like her swing. It allows our coaches to use that information to make training more individualized and effective. Instead of simply taking more swings, we can understand our individual mechanics, make adjustments, and see progress.
