Who is New Media Club?

New Media Club is the social backbone for New Media students, providing a network of current students and recent alumni. We offer weekly events that range from guest speakers and activities to crafts and professional development opportunities. In addition to our meetings, we organize major bonding events, such as our annual picnic and formal. Our largest events of the year are our Portfolio Reviews, held in the spring and fall semesters. These events bring dozens of alumni from various industries and backgrounds to critique students' portfolios and guide them as they navigate entry into the design industry.

New Media Club is a fundamental part of the New Media Design community. It is an opportunity to connect with your peers outside of an academic context, build new relationships, and take a break from the constant grind of college. Hosted in the New Media Lab, which has become a second home to many, NMC is a reminder that you don't have to navigate this major alone and that we are backed by the hundreds of students who've come before us.

So, whether you only come to our game nights or just wear our merch with pride, New Media Club is the constant pulse of this major, with no plans of stopping anytime soon.
